Love to design Graphics? Well why not be a part of the GFX Artist Team! Take part in many on going graphic projects for the board and get access to the GFX Network section. Which you can download, share, and discuss PSD's and other application files privately. Not to mention a bigger PM box. Plus you get to host competitions!
Here are the details & requirements:
1. You must have at least 30 post [ in The Gfx ' Heaven]
2. You must show some significant activity in the graphic section.
Meaning participating in a few competition, write some tutorials, graphic discussions...etc.
3. You must be willing to share PSD's or other core format of the working application.
Sharing PSD won't harm your work. It will just show user on layers and what design properties you used. Each person has their own creativity, and having a PSD will only show what layers were used, what order they were in, where elements were placed..etc. So no harms done there.
4. This is NOT a staff position. It is a group for people with the same interest on this board.
Though there will be many on going projects presented by administration to improve forum appearance, this group is not responsible for the main forum design. This is not a graphic team, it is a group of interest, there for being apart of this group is to help you better your skills, share your work, and chat with other members with the same interest.
5. You are not a higher rank than other members.
You like to design graphics, so your area of interest on this board is there. Your are in no way higher than other members. You just choose to spend more time in a different section. You are not higher than them nor they are higher than you.
6. ANYONE can apply.
Regardless if you are an experience designer or not. Anyone and everyone can improve their skills. This group is to help you develop those skills. Who is to decide if something looks good or not? Everyone has a different opinion on what looks good to them. Everyone has a different style of designing, and everyone has different taste. Just because a designer is different doesn't mean his work suck. A designer should ALWAYS have an open mind and opinion.
7. Any fake work will disqualify you from this group.
Keep your work original, do your own design! There's no point of providing fake sh*t to make yourself look good. You can never learn that way. Provide PSD's freely if requested, share your add-ons, burshes, fileters,...etc. We are here to learn, not steal other peoples work.
